TATOY'S MANOKAN ILOILO

Tatoy's Manokan and Seafood along Villa beach  in Villa, Iloilo City has been an institution to both locals and visitors alike. With its signature native litson manok (native roasted chicken) and a wide array of selections of fresh seafood and other native dishes, patrons have been coming for either a Sunday family day, or to celebrate milestones with delicious food.

Nipa huts across

Diners could opt to dine inside the restaurant or in nipa huts just across the street. The nipa huts can be accommodated without extra cost, but a minimum of ten persons is required.

Food on display
We celebrated my mother's birthday here, one Sunday lunchtime. We arrived around 11 am and the place is slowly filling up with customers. We spend around Php200/person for our celebration, which did not left us disappointed because the food was really good and delicious! The atmosphere is laidback and without frills. Plus the staff are accommodating, so we had a pleasant time.

The signature litson manok. Yum!

Of course, the lechon baboy with crispy skin. Sinful delight!

How to get there
Ride a Villa-Arevalo bound jeepney (much easier to get a ride in Robinson's Place Iloilo near the National Bookstore side) and just tell manong driver to drop you off at Tatoy's. I think the fare is Php8-Php10.
