ENCHANTED KINGDOM: The Magic Lives On

A trip to Manila would never be complete without a tour to Enchanted Kingdom (aka EK). Located 2hours away from the busy streets of greater Manila, this fun land (with the famous Eldar) will truly give you the magic it promises. Its spine-tingling, gut-wrenching rides will left you either craving for some more or screaming for your dear life.

space shuttle
For the daredevils, you could choose the Space Shuttle, Anchors Away, EKstrem Tower Ride, and Jungle Log Jam... I haven't tried the EKstrem Tower Ride, but trust me, the other three rides would surely bring you to the borders between fear and excitement (I surely did!)....

Grand Carousel

Not to worry for the faint-hearted, you have lots of rides and food kiosks to choose from.

(From EK to Ayala Center)
Mon-Tues : Closed
Wed-Fri  : 7:00pm
Sat-Sun, Holidays : 6:00pm / 9:00 pm
2. Public Bus (commuting)
Hop aboard either Jam Liner or JAC Liner buses at Buendia LRT station in Pasay City with the route to Balibago (Waltermart, Sta. Rosa Laguna). Fare is about Php 60.00 with travel time of about 1 hour. Drop off at Waltermart Sta. Rosa and ask for the terminal where you could ride a tricycle that will take you to EK. I think one trike (which is good for 3 persons) costs around Php 40. Travel time is 10-15minutes.

Going back to Manila by bus is a little bit tricky. From EK you will have to hire a trike to bring you to Balibago Complex (because getting a jeepney ride is impossible)which will cost you around Php100 (depends on your haggling powers) and travel time of 20-30minutes. The driver could drop you off in Target Mall or Puregold, and from there you could get a ride (bus or van) to Manila.

3. FX/Van
These are available at EDSA Crossing (in front of Starmall EDSA). Take the same route (Balibago Waltermart Sta. Rosa Laguna). Fare is Php60.
